Meet Dr. Jimmy Yun

Dr. Jimmy was raised in the Seattle area and received his BA at the University of Washington. He ventured to New York to earn his dental degree at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Upon graduation, he was selected to train in a General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital in New York, where he discovered his talent and commitment to children’s dental care. Dedicated to pursuing specialized care for children, he completed his pediatric dental training at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York, where he was appointed Chief Resident and presented his research on mild oral sedation techniques at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry national conference. After attaining his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, he applied his specialty skills in treating children in New York and New Jersey until his love for Seattle brought him back home. Since then, Dr. Jimmy has been working in private practice here in the Northwest. When he's not in the office, he likes to relax by spending time with his wife and dog, Miko. He also enjoys golf and almost any other sport, and that includes of course, video games.

Meet Dr. Susan Kim

Dr. Susan grew up in Long Island, New York. She earned her BA in Psychology and Education at Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Following graduation, she spent one year teaching English in a high school in Seoul, Korea. She returned to New York to attend Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery where she received her dental degree and met her husband Dr. Jimmy Yun. Combining her two passions of working with children and practicing dentistry, she decided to further enrich her education by specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia University. There, she gained valuable experience by treating children with medical challenges, assisting with clinical Pediatric Dentistry instruction to dental students, and conducting research on the advancement of digital radiography. Upon receiving her certificate, she focused on providing dental care to children in New York and New Jersey until her husband persuaded her to move to the breathtaking Pacific Northwest. Since then, she has provided dental services to local Native-American children and has also been in private practice. In her leisure time, Dr. Susan enjoys cooking, golf, skiing, playing the violin, and finding good shopping deals.
